this song brings to mind the beginning of a video game the camera following a bird then the camera shifts to different people and creatures along the path

this reminds me of the Warhammer 40K book "THE PURGING OF KADILLUS" where the Imperial guardsmen are holding the line against the hordes of orks in a hopeless attempt to defend their homes and families.
